Did you know that there are 38 different words for "wind" in Gaelic?
That is – of course – not true. Or maybe it is, I didn't check. But who cares for facts on a random blog, right?
Anyway. I took this series of images in December 2018 on a very wet and windy day near Hosta Beach, North Uist, Scotland.

Hosta is one of my favorite places on this little island. The cliffs are stunning, the waves cracking. In summer, we even went swimming (I nearly drowned, though) and apparently people go surfing there.
