Scotland, Part one

I’ve stayed in Edinburgh for a couple of months, but never really explored much further north.

When I left Edinburgh, I headed up to Inverness and Fort William for a couple of weeks. Here’s what I found.

Foggy scenes, early morning near Loch Ness.
It’s not the famous monster of Loch Ness, but an old boat.

I saw this scene happen, the sun was just rising above the hill, which was still covered in fog. I had to use my 200mm lens to capture this. The photos are not edited a lot and the camera noise fits pretty well.

A very short trip to the Isle of Skye

Fort William and the Caingorms

The Harry Potter movie made this viaduct famous, I guess.
Lot’s of snow in the Caingorms national park.

Inverness

Culloden Viaduct near Inverness.
I tried taking this photo a couple of times, but the light didn’t happen. Durres Beach, Loch Ness.
